"Kearns Construction has carried out a significant number of projects on our home over the past 25 years. We have always found them to be amazingly reliable, extremely competitive, and very professional and pleasant.
The work done to our home, originally built circa 1860, has entailed both significant internal renovations and three external extensions. Since our house is faced with granite, sometimes our specifications were quite demanding but Kearns Construction use quality craftsmen and they have always done an excellent job – see photos! Our architect said that the foundations went all the way to Australia!
Above all, the proprietor, Paddy Kearns, and his son Stephen, are exceptionally nice people to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble, they never leave a mess and always finish a job on time and within budget! In addition, they are always SO helpful in terms of the odd small job that we ask them to do as well. So many builders just want to do the extension and get out and are very difficult to get hold of later so this is a big plus for us. "In 2016 we decided to get our attic converted into a room. Kearns came highly recommended to us from several people. We decided to go with Kearns Construction because we liked their specs and materials and we found their quote very competitive.
Kearns started work early and finished late every day and our attic room was built in 6 days flat with the plasterer coming on day 7. We couldn't believe it! In less than 2 weeks it was all done. It is properly insulated and warm up there and it has proper certified steel beams and a top hung Velux window to meet the fire regulations.
We couldn't be happier and have further plans to use Kearns Construction in the future."
